Cumann na mBunscol Laighean Camogie Blitz.

Well done to Áine and Ciara from 6^th class who represented their school and county on June 18th, playing for the Meath Cumann na mBunscol team in an inter-county blitz at the Laois Centre of Excellence. The Meath team lost to Kilkenny in the first match, and were narrowly beaten by Laois, but they triumphed over Carlow and subsequently Wexford in the final match.

Áine delivered an excellent performance as goalkeeper, with numerous saves and outstanding puck-outs. Ciara was equally as impressive with a magnificent performance in defence. Ciara also served as joint captain of the county team!
