In November, pupils from 4th, 5th and 6th Class took part in our Intel Mini-Scientist competition, presenting a wonderful range of creative, thoughtful and innovative projects. The standard was incredibly high, with students showing great curiosity, teamwork and problem-solving throughout their investigations.
A huge congratulations to this year’s winners — Daithí, Joe, Johnathon and Finn — whose project “Fungi Fighters: An Investigation into Mushroom-Powered Plastic” impressed the judges with its originality and scientific rigor. Their work explored how fungi could be used as an eco-friendly alternative to traditional plastics.
Well done to all our budding scientists for their hard work and enthusiasm. We are very proud of each one of you!
