Active Schools Week - Wednesday

Wednesday saw the visit of Liam Foley to the school.

Liam is a Special Olympian who represented Ireland in the Special Olympics in Los Angeles in 2015, winning two bronze medals, a silver medal and a gold!

Liam, son of the former Meath footballer Kevin, visited all the classes and showed them his PowerPoint detailing his sports involvement and achievements. His journey is an inspiration to all and all the classes and teachers were thoroughly engaged throughout.

Also, as part of Active Schools Week, the sixth class have been dancing with different classes at lunch time. Take a look at the dancing exploits with the Infants- we're not sure who enjoyed it more!!
