Meet the Scientist - First Class A

The children completed the final webinar in the Meet the Scientist series with Kealan Doyle - the Seahorse Man. Kealan is a marine biologist who specialises in the conservation of Seahorses. He told the children how he trained to be a marine biologist and how he has spent time researching marine life in exciting locations such as the Galápagos Islands and Thailand. He also showed the children coral he is growing which will be transported to the Irish sea. We were also treated to a live view of seahorses and other fish such as clown fish. We found out some very interesting information. The children were amazed to learn Daddy Seahorse have the babies and all clownfish are born male.
