The children were learning about weight this week. We were learning to use our estimation skills to guess how many cubes it took to balance an object. We also learned about kg and looked for objects that would weight 1kg.

We had great fun learning about St. Patrick's Day and how it is celebrated all over the world. The children particularly enjoyed seeing the landmarks around the world turning green. We decided to make our own decorations - dancing leprechauns!

The children had a great day celebrating World Book Day this year. They started the celebrations browsing through the books in our Used Book Sale and then dressed up as their favourite book character. Comhghairdeas to Eoghan and Olive who won the best dressed competition.
