Seed Experiment

We tried to grow some cress seeds to try to determine what plants need to grow.The first had sunlight but no water. The second had water but no sunlight and the third had both water and sunlight. Here are our results.........

The one that only got sunlight didn't grow.

The one that had only water but the warmth of the dark cófra grew really fast but wasn't green and healthy because no photosynthesis took place.

The one that had water and sunlight didn't grow the fastest but grew the strongest and the healthiest! We learned that plants NEED water to grow!!

Junk Art Buildings

Teacher asked used to bring in old bits and pieces from our recycling bins at home to created our very own miniature city which can be found in the hall outside our room. They took a ehile to create what with the papier machée and the layers of paint but we had great fun making them!!!!!

The Twits

We read Roald Dahl's "The Twits". It was really funny and a bit disgusting!!! We predicted what will happen before we started and wrote about our favourite parts of the book......
