First Class Science Fair - Save the Date

First Class will host a Science Fair on Thursday 16th March at 1:30pm in our school hall.

All family members including grandparents are welcome to come along.

Australia Day

We have been learning about Australia. We looked at some of the history, art and celebrations in particular Australia Day. The children found the aboriginal art very interesting and wanted to give it a try. Here they are creating their own aboriginal dot paintings.

We decided to look at things from a different angle this week for Art and created these aerial view snowmen. The children were deligthed with their art pieces.

On Thursday 26th January we welcomed over 30 grandparents into our classroom to help us celebrate Catholic School's week's Grandparents Day. A massive thank you to all of the grandparents who came on the day and spoke to the chidlren about their own time in school.
