January - Lunchtime Fun

Two of the girls in third class used their pencils to build this fantastic Pencil Tower. They were finished eating their lunch during breaktime and decided to keep busy by creating this structure before going outside to yard. I think there are a few future engineers in third class.

December - Santa's visit and Advent Preparation

This Advent the children prepared for Christmas in a very special way with the help of Pauline. They tried to think of ways they could prepare for Christmas in school and at home and wrote their ideas on handprints. We all tried to make a special effort in thrid class to remember that Jesus was the reason for the Season.

Third class also got a surprise visit from Santa this month. Santa gave everyone a little treat and asked teacher to give the children the night off homework. Needless to say the children were very excited and thoroughly enjoyed the surprise visit.
