Misneach
Inspire Award in Misneach
This month, one child from Misneach, Feileacain, Junior Infants, Senior Infants, 1st class and 2nd class was chosen to receive an Inspire Award.
The teachers of each class announced the winners in front of the whole school at Assembly, and they each got a lovely certificate and a big clap from all the children and staff.
Katy won the award in Misneach. She is always very kind to her classmates, and wants to play with everyone every day. She loves making new friends in the yard and at assembly too, and greets others with a big smile on her face!
Huge Thanks for our Bikes and Scooters!
Misneach and Féileacáin are so grateful to all the kind families that donated their unused bicycles and scooters to the school.
The boys and girls use them every day in the hall, and can't wait to bring them outside when the nicer weather comes.
Thank you so much for your continued support.
World Book Day in Misneach
Some of the boys and girls dressed up for World Book Day in Misneach.
We all went to the hall with the rest of the school for assembly, and we stood up when it was our turn to show everyone our costumes. Then we watched all the other boys and girls show off their costumes. It was so fun!
Easter in Misneach 2023
We had a lovely week leading up to the Easter break in Misneach!
We invited our friends from Féileacáin for an Easter party in our room and we had chocolate cake.
We made some Easter art using paint, card, tissue paper and glue.
And we watched some Easter stories and songs!
Wow Writing in Misneach!
We have been focusing on our pre-writing and writing skills this month.
We are all at different levels when it comes to our handwriting, but we are all trying our best!
