The sixth class recently enjoyed their tour into Dublin.
Beginning with the Natural History Museum, they learned lots about the different animals that roamed Ireland once upon a time and got the opportunity to see different animals up close.
They then travelled to Glasnevin where they visited the different graves of various Irish historical figures, such as Michael Collins, Daniel O'Connell, Charles Stewart Parnell etc. They learned of history along the way, thanks in no small part to the superb tour guide, Niall.
After, they travelled to Blanchardstown to partake in a spot of bowling. The games were competitive with some very high scores throughout, including a top score of 162.
Well done to the class on their behaviour throughout the day, which was exemplary.
