Runners Up in Camogie Mini 7s

Well done to our terrific Mini 7s Camogie team who came in second place in the Mini 7s today!

The girls beat Gaelscoil na Bóinne and St. Mary's Trim to qualify for the finals a fortnight ago.

Today, they beat Boyerstown N.S. in the first round and then overcame Dunboyne N.S. 3-1 to 2-0 in the second match.

The final saw them pitted against Kiltale N.S.. Though battling hard throughout, scores from Orla, Sarah and Grace were not enough to beat a strong Kiltale team. However, the girls can feel very pleased with their day's work! Coming second in Meath is a great achievement!

Lastly, Orla, joint captain of the school, was chosen to play in Croke Park during the summer. Well done Orla and well done to the girls!
