3rd/4th Class Camogie Match

Well done to our 3rd and 4th class camogie team who played a great game against Gaelscoil na Bóinne.

Having trained all year, the girls played a challenge match against the Gaelscoil in Trim.

They played a great game, scoring two great goals from Caoimhe!

3rd-4th match

Well done to all involved!

Kildalkey v St. Paul's Navan

Kildalkey N.S. kept their unbeaten run going in the hurling this year when they defeated St. Paul's N.S., Navan, in Navan.

With many third and fourth class players being given the chance to display their talents, Kildalkey had a very young team out - but it didn't matter one jot to them. Scores from Brian, Charlie in the first half saw Kildalkey leading by eight points at the break.

They further extended their advantage in the second half with some great score from Ben and Seán among others. Well done to all the players today on a very spirited performance - the future looks bright for Kildalkey hurling!

On Friday, March 20th, the hurlers went to Boardsmill and beat Baconstown, Boardsmill and Dangan. The hurling finals will take place after Easter.

Well done to all the teams!!

Mini 7s Runners Up

Hard luck to the Mini 7s Boys' team who came second in today's Mini 7s Games.

Captained by Lorcán, they put in some great performances. In their first game, they beat Kilmessan by 2-4 to 2-0. They then put six goals past Kilskyre, defeating them 6-0 to 2-0.

In the last match, a winner takes all affair, they were leading at half time by 1-0 to 0-0. However, a strong Dunboyne side, with the wind at their backs, rallied and scored five unas=nswered points to take the match and thus the title.

Kildalkey can hold their heads high with some great performances. After the match, Aaron was picked to represent Meath in an All Ireland Hurling Semi Final this year. Well done Aaron!

Girls' Soccer

Well done to the two girls' soccer teams who competed in the MDL soccer tournament.

The two teams, captained by Sarah and Jacinta, competed very well winning and drawing several matches.

On what was an absolutely horrible day for soccer, the two teams enjoyed themselves and acquitted themselves very well!

Thanks to all the parents who braved the elements and Miss O'Sullivan who did such a great job of managing both teams!
