The boys and girls of 3rd class have had an extremely busy and productive month! The students have gotten through an abundance of work and are aiming high, as always!
Geography projects
The students carried out research on European countries this month in SESE. Each group had to research one country that they were assigned, and they all presented their projects to the class.

PE
In PE, the students have been training hard with their GAA coach Neil. He has been working on hurling skills with the class, and they have been loving it. In the hall, the boys and girls have also been learning some new gymnastics skills.

The Vikings
The class learned all about the Vikings in history. It was a topic they were really interested in. For Art, we decided to construct our very own Viking ships out of cardboard.

Picker Pals
3rd class were chosen this year to be 'Picker Pals'. The 'Picker Pals' have a very important job- they will collect any rubbish that is found outside around our school each week. Every week 2 students from 3rd class will inspect the grounds of our school for any rubbish and pick it up, using their pickers! Betty and Beau were first to do it this month!

Well done 3rd class on another productive, hard-working month!
