'Braveheart of the Wild' musical

3rd class are so excited about their upcoming musical, 'Braveheart of the Wild', taking place this coming Tuesday. The students of both 3rd and 5th class have worked so hard over the last few months to put this amazing production together! 3rd/4th Class Girls Gaelic!

Well done to the 3rd and 4th Class girls' football team for their fantastic effort in the last match of the Peadar Lehane tournament. Although they came up short against a strong Boardsmill N.S. team in a hard-fought game, the girls have shown incredible improvement in their Gaelic skills and should be very proud of themselves! We've also had so much fun during training over the past few weeks!

3rd and 4th Class Boys' Football Win

Well done to the 3rd and 4th boys' football team who won their last match of the Peadar Lehane Cup, beating Boardsmill in a very competitive and tight game.

With some terrific score taking, the boys took a lead in the first half they would not surrender and despite a good fightback from Boardsmill, held on to take the win.

The boys can feel very proud of their efforts and improvements over the last few weeks. Well done all!

We are learning about.... in Third Class

We learned about some Myths and Legends in English. Then we did some Children of Lir inspired pieces in Art. Here are some of our finished products.

In Geography, we talked about our village of Kildalkey and its features. We also practised our mapping skills. Here are some of our first drafts!

In Art, we explored the method of Pointilism. We took great care painting some pictures of Suns as we reminisced about our Summer holidays.
