Active Schools Week 2019 - Tuesday

Our first day of Active Schools Week saw the entire start the morning with some dancing with 'Wake and Shake'!!

The junior and senior classes then took part in races on the back field while the fifth and sixth took part in a penalty shoot out.

All thoroughly enjoyed the day - well done!

Tomorrow sees Mickey Burke visit the school and we look forward to his visit!

Confirmation 2019

Well done to the boys and girls in 6th class who made their Confirmation in Athboy on Thursday, 9th May.

On what was a lovely day, everything went off without a hitch and we were treated some to beautiful readings, some superb singing and a great occasion overall.

Well done to the choir on their performance and to all who helped out on the day!

Daily Mile

The daily mile is continuing in the school where it has been a huge success to date.

All classes are currently engaging and the senior classes have increased their run to 7 laps!

Well done to all the classes.

In weather like what we're currently experiencing, sure where else would you rather be!!

Mini 7s Hurling Champions

Congratulations to the boys from 5th and 6th who won this year's Mini 7s Hurling finals.

Captained by Aaron and Conor, the boys did superbly throughout. After a tight encounter with St. Paul's which ended in a draw, the boys warmed to the task recording resounding wins over Dunboyne and Kilmessan to secure the title, albeit on scoring difference.

Afterwards, Aaron and Conor collected the medals and plaque!
Well done also to James C who was selected play at half time in Croke Park this summer!
