Mini 7s Hurling 2023
Well done to the Mini 7s Hurling team who won through to the group stages of the Mini 7s Hurling competition.
In a tough group comprising of Kilskyre, Kilbride, Kilmessan and Rath Cairn, the boys eked out wins against all their opponents with some very tight games.
With strong performances right throughout the team, the boys can be very proud of their days' work!
They play in the finals on November 20th in Dunganny. Best of Luck!!

Defeat Boys' lot in final
Commiserations to the boys' hurling team who were defeated in an enthralling final by St. Michael's N.S., Trim.

The boys started like a whirlwind and lead by seven at half time with some superb scores through Cian, Ciarán, James C and Evan. They played some superb hurling in this period and were unlucky not to be further in front, with the half time score reading 4-1 to 2-0.
However, the concession of two early goals in the second half changed the complexion of the game and the momentum swung back to Trim. Though Kildalkey rallied with superb scores through Jamie and Cian, a late goal and a few points eventually swung the match Trim's way, 5-5 to 4-4.

Kildalkey can take great heart from their performance. Though ultimately very disappointing, they played some superb hurling throughout the campaign but saved their best performance until last. We are very proud of their efforts!!

3rd/4th Girls Football
The 3rd/4th class girls’ football team, (comprising of 31 girls!), have been training hard over the past few weeks and enjoyed a fantastic win over Boardsmill N.S. After a strong opening half from the girls, Boardsmill fought back, but our girls held their composure and secured a well-deserved victory! Maith sibh Cailiní!
They now look forward to their next match against Ballivor.

Hurling in Senior Infants
Senior Infants were very excited to start hurling with our coach Neil this week. They had great fun running in races and practising their throwing and catching skills.
