The Parents' Association objectives:
> To promote and foster good relations and co-operation between home and school. Our children are positively impacted when parents and teachers work together. This collaboration is more important than ever following the unprecedented turmoil of the past few years.
> develop an active partnership with the school principal, staff and the board of management assuring that parents are represented in the decision making processes relating to the school and our children
> suggest and/or organise extra-curricular activities, and fundraise toward helping the implementation of said activities/events.
> To help financially with the provision of extra equipment and teaching aids for the school
> manage activities on behalf of the parents, offering programmes, information, talks etc. to help fulfil their role as the primary educators of their children.
The Parents' Association can make representations to the principal on behalf of the general body of parents regarding issues affecting the education of their children, however, the Parents' Association is not a forum for complaint against either an individual teacher or fellow parent.
The Parents' Association Annual General Meeting for school year 2022/23 will take place on September 20th 2022 at 8pm in the school hall. We will take a look back at the successes of the 2021/22 school year, welcome all new members, and ratify the committee structure for the year ahead.
