Second Class
First Communion 2025
Well done to our Misneach class and our two second classes who made their first holy Communion on Saturday, 17th May.
It was a beautiful day with two beautiful ceremonies, with Fr. Ciarán doing stellar work presiding over both ceremonies.
After both ceremonies, all parents and students came back to the school Hall to have some refreshments and teas etc put on by the generous and hard working Parents' Association.
Thank you to all who made the day the success it was. The choir sang beautifully, directed by Miss Kealey and Mrs. Kelly. The three classes were extremely well prepared by their teachers, Miss Smyth, Miss Coote and Miss O'Sullivan.

Trees & Plants
This month we have been learning all about plants! We examined the changes in plant life during the different seasons. We also investigated how plants respond to light and explored the need of plants for water and heat.
We did a case study on the silver birch tree and used our paint and colour skills to create our own silver birch trees.
At the end of our learning, we created projects on the Trees of Ireland!
World Book Day 2025!
Our Published Reports!
In February, we finally published our reports with Ms. Kelly! We did lots of work on the features of report writing over the last two months and after revising and editing our drafts, we had a publishing party and shared our reports about animals with the class.
