Cumann na mBunscol Round Up
Hard luck to our camogie team who lost their semi final against Scoil Éanna last Thursday, 13th October.
In what was a tight affair, Scoil Éanna struck for two first half goals to leave the half time score 2-1 to no score. Kildalkey battled hard in the second half, with excellent performances from captains Robyn and Sarah, Caoimhe and Molly but try as they might, they couldn't get level with Scoil Éanna. Two super points from Robyn and Chloe were all Kildalkey could manage as Scoil Éanna sealed the win with some great scores themselves.
In truth, Scoil Éanna were the better team on the day. However, the girls can be proud of their performances during the month and of their battling performance in the semi final.
The boys are through to the hurling final next Saturday, 22nd October. Their final is on in Trim GAA club at 1.00 against St. Michael's N.S., Trim. The very best of luck to all the boys and we welcome all support on the day. A reminder that there is a 3 euro entry fee on the day.
