Sixth Class

Mini Scientist Success

To get to an All Ireland final is superb. To get to two is simply outstanding. Yet that's what Anna, Ellen, Meadhbh and Shannon have done.

They qualified again for the All Ireland final to be held in January and February. Their project 'Does THE Spatter Matter?' was one of only 16 to make it through to the All Ireland. Considering there was nearly 100 on display, that is some achievement!

The girls now look forward to the All Ireland finals, where we are sure they will represent the school brilliantly - again!

Well done to their girls and their parents on seeing all their hard work pay off! Roll on the All Ireland!

Even Bishop Smith was impressed to hear about their exploits!

Selection Box Winner!

Well done to Abbie who won the Parents' Association raffle on the day of the Cake Sale!

The Parents' Association generously gave a gorgeous selection box to all classes to raffle off.

Abbie's number was the first one out - congratulations!

Not to be opened until Christmas now......AD

Mini Scientist Fair 2018

Well done to all who took part in the Mini Scientist competition this year.

The standard was simply extraordinary, with some outstanding projects on display.

When it all boiled down to it, there were three runners up with Blessing, Ava and Amy, and Lucy and Ava-Marie all being rewarded for their supreme efforts with runners up prizes.

Overall the top spot went to Shannon, Anna, Meadhbh and Ellen for their work on blood spatter - Does Spatter Matter? This in itself is a phenomenal achievement for this is the second year in a row for these girls to win it and the third for Ellen and Shannon.

Well done to all who participated and thanks to all those who came along.

Well done Ben!!

Well done to Ben who represented the school and Meath in Croke Park last Sunday, 12th August.

Wearing the Monaghan jersey, Ben certainly didn't look out of place with several assists and one superb goal in his short stint on the pitch.

Ben can be very proud of his efforts on the day - we are sure it won't be his last time representing a county in Croke Park.

Well done Ben!!

On Monday, 25th June our sixth class graduated from Kildalkey N.S..

A beautiful ceremony was held in School Two where their experiences in Kildalkey N.S. were remembered and celebrated. Past teachers and parents spoke beautifully and were treated to some excellent singing by the sixth class.

The graduates then received their graduation hoodies and certificates before performing their dance for their parents and friends present.
